AP EXAMS ARE HERE...

ARE YOU PREPARED?

APRIL 30TH, 2018

The Advanced Placement Tests are rapidly approaching for many DE students. These tests will be held in the auxiliary gym and will commence at 8:00; therefore, it is recommended to get a good night's sleep prior to testing, or drink some coffee before the exam. For those students wondering about the date and time of their exam, refer to the chart at the bottom of the article.

Some Tips and Tricks

1. Start Studying Now!

Before you know it, these tests will creep on you. Begin your preparation now so you pass! Your instructor spent a whole year teaching you the skills that you will need and the content you will need to know, so refer back to your notes.

2. Attend your AP teachers tutoring sessions

Many of the teachers who teach an AP class will be having a tutoring sessions leading up to the tests.

3. Take Practice tests

There should be a variety of practice tests on the internet you can use. College Board provides really good examples of each subject area.

4. Avoid any distractions!

Avoid using your phone, watching TV, or listening to music. This can distract you and will hinder your studying. Make sure your attention is 100% on studying!

5. Get a good rest before the test!

Make sure you sleep in early before the test. Testing starts at 8 and not only do you not want to be late, but being tired will hinder your test performance.
